Meet the Quadfecta

1. Nootropics:

Ingredients that support mental performance, like focus, memory, learning, mood, or mental stamina.
How they work: Many nootropics influence neurotransmitters, cerebral blood flow, or protect neurons from oxidative stress.
In the smoothie: Cacao (rich in flavanols & theobromine), lion’s mane (often used for focus), creatine (supports brain energy), blue berries.
Why we use them: Clearer thinking and calmer focus help you show up for training, work, and ‘ohana.

2. Adaptogens

Botanicals traditionally used to help the body adapt to stress and promote overall balance (homeostasis).
How they work: Support a healthy stress response and resilience (without being overly stimulating or sedating).
In the smoothie: Ashwagandha, reishi.
Why we use them: Life loads stress on the system. Adaptogens are like quiet coaches encouraging steady energy and calm.

Note: turmeric is a powerful, food-first botanical with a long history in Hawaiʻi and across the Pacific/Asia. While it’s not typically classified as an “adaptogen” in the strict herbalist sense, it does support a healthy inflammatory response, one reason it anchors our blend.

3. Superfoods

Foods with an exceptionally dense nutrient profile: vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fibers, or unique phytonutrients, relative to their calories.
In the smoothie: 'ĀiNA CULTURE turmeric blend, aloe vera, berries, banana, chlorophyll, spirulina, hemp and pumpkin seeds, maca, aloe vera, cashew butter
Why we use them: To raise the quality of every sip with real-food nutrients, not synthetic fluff.

4. Protein

Protein supplies amino acids, the raw materials for muscle repair, enzymes, hormones, and tissues.
In the smoothieL Avocado, chocolate whey protein, collagen, creatine, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds

Why we use it: Training demands recovery. Adequate protein helps you rebuild stronger, manage hunger, and stabilize energy.

WHY FOUNDATION TRAINING MATTER TO US

In 2022, during a high-pressure harvest season, I suffered a herniated disc after years of hard farm labor and surfing. I couldn’t walk, couldn’t farm, and couldn’t take care of my family.

Physical therapy made things worse. Pain medication wasn’t the answer.

Out of desperation, I committed to two things: anti-inflammatory nutrition and Foundation Training.

I started with a simple 12 minute Foundation Training video, practiced twice a day, every day. Within two weeks, I could walk again. Over time, I corrected lifelong posture issues and came back stronger than ever, even surfing better than before.

Foundation Training didn’t just heal my back. It changed how I move, breathe, and live. I hope it does the same for you!
